De'Vante Montgomery is a graduate of Miami University and majored in Political Science after working on the presidential campaigns of President Barack Obama and Senator Hillary Clinton.
De'Vante has been a political and community activist since age 15. His interests include fair and affordable housing, environmental protection, ensuring the rights of the LGBT and other minority groups are protected, and advocating for the equal protection of immigrants and civil rights for African Americans.
In 2016, De'Vante was elected the youngest delegate from Ohio to the 2016 Democratic National Convention for former Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton. De'Vante is also a proud recipient of the Student Service Award from Miami University for his work as one of the campus student activists against racism and anti-Semitism.
From 2019 until 2020, De'Vante was a Development Fellow for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in New York City where he was tasked with meeting prospective AIPAC stakeholders to explain the value of AIPAC, convey the urgency of growing and strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship, and solicit donations.
De'Vante's desire to make an impact led him to venture capital, specifically H Venture Partners, in 2021, after reading about the lack of representation in venture capital - and the opportunity for investment in female and non-white communities.
At H Venture Partners, De'Vante works with the Managing Partner to assist with investor relations, project management, fund administration, portfolio company tracking, new investments, marketing, and communications.
De'Vante is studying to be a CFA.
De'Vante is a proud father of a 10-month-old blue nose Pitbull, Azula, loves to travel, and is a fitness enthusiast.
